Team Pink!

We went to the doctors today for the BIG appointment!! It was our second attempt at the Ultrasound so we were hoping baby peanut was not going to be stubborn! ☺

We got really lucky… right when I sat down the technician asked if we would like to know the baby’s gender. Of course I exclaimed YES! Haha Well right as the technician put the ultrasound machine on my tummy baby peanuts legs were open and booty was facing the air! Haha The tech quickly snapped a picture and….

It’s a GIRL!!! I started to tear up from the excitement!

As soon as the Tech took the picture my BABY GIRL curled her legs back up and didn’t show her “stuff” the rest of the time! LoL Go figure!

So the Tech continued with the exam even though the baby was now being stubborn. They checked all the baby’s parts for healthy growth and development. They had a really hard time yet again because Lil Miss Peanut was not cooperating.

I told the doctor that she is already demanding extra attention! ☺

The doctor then came in to have a final look and she if he could get a better look but no such luck! Our Lil Princess was being a Diva and did not want to be on display anymore.

We now have to go to a Cardiac Specialist for a special ultrasound of our baby’s heart because the doctor could not get a good look. He said that everything that he could see looked good but that the baby’s position was making it impossible for them to get a full view.

Sounds a little scary but I’m glad that everything they did see looked good and that they are being good doctors and not just guessing that everything is fine but going the extra mine to make sure its fine.
